There are so many ways DFS players can build their lineups tonight with a lot of good hitting options and a “hodge podge” of pitchers that all seem to have some potential to either crush it or blow up. We all cashed with our GPP lineups on Wednesday, let see if we can keep it rolling into the weekend.

Here is a list of the “rules” we are following when constructing lineups:

  1. We will make two separate lineups for each site (FanDuel and DraftKings), one for Cash games and one for GPP tournaments.
  2. For Cash games, we will build the core of our lineup from the Consensus list using any player listed regardless of what tier they are in and will be allowed to choose 1 player that is not on the Consensus list that we consider to be a good play.
  3. For GPP games, we are allowed to choose up to add 2-3 players that are not on the Consensus list to help complete a hitter stack or we consider to be a good play.
  4. We can modify any lineup as we see fit for any late-breaking lineup news that opens up good options even if they are not on the Consensus list.

As always be sure to check for late-breaking news regarding weather and lineups.

Cash Game Lineup

fd50508.5

Cash Narrative – King Felix seems a bit underpriced. Stacking up some Mariners, Marlins and Phils. Feelin’ good about this one.

GPP Lineup

GPP Narrative – I like Garcia as a GPP option tonight. Stacking Marlins and Mariners in the GPP, too. Feelin’ good about this one, too.

Cash Game Lineup

Cash

Cash Narrative – I like Syndergaard tonight as a pitcher with a high floor and ceiling on a slate without too many pitchers I am comfortable with in my Cash lineup. For my second pitcher spot, I will go with the Consensus and get an inexpensive Taillon. I went with one off the board play on the hitting side, using Josh Harrison batting leadoff for the Pirates tonight at a cheap price. The rest of the plays are from the expanded Expert Consensus List.

GPP Lineup

GPP

GPP Narrative – The Diamondbacks and Mariners are my two favorite teams to stack tonight. They both might be a little “chalky” but my wrinkle with the Diamondback stack is that I am going with only the right-handed bats against Chase Anderson who has HUGE reverse splits allowing much more production to righties. I also think the Castillo is a good play since he caught Anderson last season. I was suprised to see Tomas not make the Consensus list. Also, I only like the three big hitters in the Mariners lineup so I will just go with a short stack and then grab the top Consensus play Ozuna for the final outfield spot. With so many high-priced bats I needed to pay down at pitching with Liriano, who I think could be a sneaky good play tonight and Shipley who has some strikeout upside agasint the Brewers and could get a win if the Diamondbacks hitters go off.

Cash Game Lineup

Cash

Cash Narrative – Tonight feels all over the place, so I am picking two pitchers I like the most and putting them in both lineups (and then hedging my bets in separate lineups, shh, don’t tell anyone). Off-the-board play here is the red hot, en fuego Mookie Betts. Ozuna, Stanton and Goldy are all BvP plays for me today. Harper and Cruz will be popular tonight as will a lot of Mariners facing the dreadful Tim Lincecum. I am not sure Realmuto is a quality cash game play, but he is in Coors and hopefully the weather holds off.

GPP Lineup

 GPP

GPP Narrative – I am surprised that Kris Bryant isn’t a Consensus member. I’ll take him here against the rookie lefty Dillon Overton. Morneau and Longo are also BvP plays and I have 3 off-the-board plays instead of just two because my daughter just threw up and I don’t have time to change it, so throw up = a lineup thrown up. Good luck all!
