Hope everyone had a good 4th of July holiday weekend! We are back to supply a variety of Cash and GPP lineups for FanDuel (Matt), DraftKings (Brad) and FantasyDraft (Stephen) after solid overall results from our lineups last week.

Here is a list of the “rules” we are following when constructing lineups:

  1. We will make two separate lineups for each site (FanDuel and DraftKings), one for Cash games and one for GPP tournaments.
  2. For Cash games, we will build the core of our lineup from the Consensus list using any player listed regardless of what tier they are in and will be allowed to choose 1 player that is not on the Consensus list that we consider to be a good play.
  3. For GPP games, we are allowed to choose up to add 2-3 players that are not on the Consensus list to help complete a hitter stack or we consider to be a good play.
  4. We can modify any lineup as we see fit for any late-breaking lineup news that opens up good options even if they are not on the Consensus list.

As always be sure to check for late-breaking news regarding weather and lineups.

Cash Game Lineup

fd50507.5

Cash Narrative – Back at it this week with a solid Cash lineup out of the gates. I love Carlos Carrasco. This guy continues to flash his dominance start after start. A couple of Blue Jays and some options with pop. David Freese owns Mike Leake so let’s hope that continues. Off the board play with Giancarlo against the lefty Matz.

GPP Lineup

 fdgpp7.5

GPP Narrative – Everyone is going to be all over the Jays against Chris Young so I’m going to completely fade it. That might not be a wise decision but it’s worth a roll of the dice. A stack of Red Sox because A.J. Griffin’s luck has to run out at some point and a stack of Diamondbacks in a hitters park. A small stack of Dodgers which includes Yasiel Puig as he seems to hit in bunches and has been on a roll lately. I like Odorizzi’s upside at home against the Angels.

Cash Game Lineup

Cash

Cash Narrative – Starting with the most touted pitcher on the slate with Bumgarner and then grabbing a cheap #2 option with Odorizzi. On the hitting side, going with a cheap Reyes hitting atop the order and then grabbing value plays from the Consensus wherever I can.

GPP Lineup

GPP

GPP Narrative – Going with a double stack on the hitting side with the Red Sox using three players from the Consensus plus Pedrioa to round out the top of the order. Then going a little off the board with a Cardinals stack using Piscotty from the Consensus and then off the board plays of Peralta and a min priced Pham. On the pitching side, going with an off the board play of Price and a Consensus pick of Rodon both whom I believe have some risk but also have high upside at reasonable prices.

Cash Game Lineup

Cash Narrative – I’ve been playing FantasyDraft backward lately for cash and GPP lineups, so I am going to keep with it. On paper, Odorizzi has an awesome matchup with Trout out of the lineup, but strikeouts aren’t aplenty with the Angels’ lineup. Anyway, I’ve loaded up on bats and paired Odorizzi with Keuchel, who pitches well at home and is a BvP play tonight. I love the Blue Jays against one of my top-5 hated pitchers in the league, Chris Young. I love this cheap pitching, heavy bats lineup, so it will probably flounder.

GPP Lineup

GPP Narrative – I am playing the top-priced pitchers on the board in my GPP with some pricing finagling to boot. So, Josh Thole and Christian Colon are off-the-board-punt plays. Shane Robinson takes Mike Trout’s spot as a Consensus scratch player. Reyes is probably one of the highest-owned players tonight, but I don’t care at that price. It won’t stay there long. Saunders and Carrera are excellent lefty bats against Chris Young and his .500+ wOBA. Nelly Cruz hedges my bet a bit, just in case Keuchel tanks. Lastly, Goldy, you’re my boy, “blue!” Good luck!
