Thursday’s MLB DFS advice will focus on the four-game evening slate on DraftKings. Make special note of the 6:10 EST start time that was needed to fit the Astros/Indians game into the slate. FanDuel opted for running just a three-game slate starting at the usual time. This article will be free today with a short slate. I will also only be listing out my top plays by position instead of specific stacks.

Let’s mow down the competition 3 Up and 3 Down…
3 Up
Ace
Charlie Morton (DK-$11,400)
Thank goodness for the Astros/Indians game being included on the slate as that is where I want to roster my pitchers from. Morton has dominated lefties this season allowing just a .203 wOBA while posting an impressive 43.4% strikeout rate. The Indians feature a left-handed heavy lineup with all of their switch hitters when facing a righty. Morton just mowed down the Indians in his last start allowing one run over seven innings with eight strikeouts.
Value
Mike Clevinger (DK-$9,000)
Short slates can lead to unusual lineups like using both pitchers from the same game. Clevinger was outdueled by Morton in his last start but still had a decent game with six strikeouts over six innings while allowing three runs against the Astros. In 46 career plate appearances against Astros hitters, Clevinger has posted a 30.4% strikeout rate.
Darkhorse
Blake Snell (DK-$8,000)
Snell should be very contrarian facing off against the Red Sox on Thursday night. However, he has pitched sensationally at home this season with a 1.07 ERA in four starts which includes throwing 5.2 shutout innings against the Red Sox. In his career, Snell has had success against Red Sox hitters allowing a .282 wOBA with a solid 23.8% strikeout rate in 105 plate appearances. If you want to save more salary then consider either Zach Davies ($6,100) or Danny Duffy ($4,300).
3 Down

Isiah Kiner-Falefa (DK-$3,300) – Kiner-Falefa has four hits, three runs and four RBI over his last two games.
Mike Moustakas (DK-$4,400) – Moustakas has a .391 wOBA and .276 ISO against righties this season.
Jurickson Profar (DK-$3,500) – Profar is batting .318 with three doubles, a homer, 11 RBI and two steals over his last six games.
Mookie Betts (DK-$6,000) – No reason needed just play Betts if you can fit him in.

Denard Span (DK-$3,600) – Span is batting .370 against Rick Porcello in 46 career at-bats.
