This is the final installment of our NBA Consensus Lineup Construction series….no, it’s not an April Fool’s joke.

With MLB returning and the laughable trend of resting players late in the NBA season, has us shifting gears to Opening Day.

But we will try to go out with a bang tonight for NBA, BUT we will continue the idea with Major League Baseball next week. Brad and Matt will head up that project and I will toss some lineups in a couple of times per week, but it will be their baby.

My baby is BvP for MVP, which will publish early in the day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I will be lumped into the expert grading and consensus article for MLB as well. Please check that out as part of your research. I will be doing things a bit differently than last year.

Anyway, back to the NBA for tonight…

Here’s tonight’s Expert Consensus in case you missed it. Also, look for Brad’s wrap up of our Construction Article in his final NBA Expert Grading recap on Monday.

Last one, make it count!

Cash Game Lineup

Cash Game Narrative: My SFs are in my cash game due to injuries. Both Boogie and Jae Crowder are out tonight, so I hope that Gay can play up for this game and that Turner, in what should see a lot of points, can pay off his inflated value. I found it difficult to play all players from the Consensus as I always seemed to have more than $1000 left over, so I had to take the injury-replacement route.

GPP Lineup

GPP Lineup Narrative: In my final GPP Construction lineup, I am taking a stroll along narrative street. The first is Markieff returning to Phoenix against his old team. The second is Robin Lopez, who I believe becomes a great play should Porzingis sits again, same with Carmelo. But the main reason I am playing him is because he’s up against his beloved brother Brook, and I want Robin to rock his world for all of my dead lineups BroLo sank this year. Oh, forgot to mention, Josh Richardson is in both lineups, along with Dragic, due to Dwayne Wade being doubtful to play tonight. Wes Matthews is another injury-card play with Chandler Parsons and Deron Williams out.
