Today is a sad, sad day.
Not for DFS purposes, but because it’s the last official day of Spring Break for me (and we lose an hour of sleep tomorrow night).
So while I scrupulously swipe the singular, salty tear from my eye, I’ll be looking forward to trying line my bank account with dollar signs using tonight’s NBA slate.
Meanwhile, I want to point out that I have cashed either in a GPP or Cash Game 7 slates in a row (2 GPPs, 5 Cash). While my ROI isn’t great, we are starting to see some consistency for a change. In my opinion, that’s great.
If I wanted to extended my cash game play to a larger bankroll, I could certainly best my current ROI pretty quick, assuming the consistency remains.
Also on the plus side, Matt and Brad have done a great job over on DraftKings. They have cashed in a GPP or Cash game in 9 out of their last 11 tries dating back to February 23rd. Brad has the largest cash overall with a $30 finish earlier this week.
I hope we can get another week of consistency in the books, but I believe the tweak in our rules after the ASB has made a world of difference.
Here is tonight’s Expert Consensus for those that missed it.
Now, let’s close out the week with a huge bang (that’s what she said!).
Entrant – Stephen – FanDuel
Cash Game Lineup
Cash Game Narrative – This lineup is contingent upon Dwayne Wade not playing. If he does play, then I want the DFS NBA gods to know i WILL be switching to Ish Smith (so I am going to hope D-Wade sits this one out).
GPP Lineup
GPP Narrative – Someone has to score points for Memphis (enter Matt Barnes). My other off-the-board play occurred when I threw in Willie Cauley-Stein into the mix with Boogie out today (and everyone will be on Koufos most likely). As you can see, Rudy Gay, Lance Stephenson and BroLo (all 3 in both lineups) are must plays for me today, even though I said I was swearing off Lopez forever. This is a classic spot for Lopez to let me down and for Whiteside to provide the upside instead.
Entrant – Matt – DraftKings
Cash Game Lineup
GPP Lineup
GPP Narrative – Two off the board plays tonight. Those are Evan Turner and Gordon Hayward. Turner has turned in some solid outings of late and he should have plenty of opportunities in an up-and-down game against the Rockets tonight. Hayward was the best guy I could get for my remaining $6900 in salary and he’s a solid play most nights.
