Success in DFS tonight on the 10-game NBA slate could come down to determining which games will end up being closer than Vegas thinks. Eight games have a Vegas spread of seven points or greater with only the Wizards/Bulls and Thunder/Mavericks games expected to be closer.

Be sure to check back about a half hour before tipoff for our “NBA Consensus Lineup Construction” article for some sample FanDuel and DraftKing lineups to consider for tonight.

The numbers in the parenthesis are the number of experts that picked that player to give you more context as to the gaps between players and the tiers. Here are the Industry Consensus picks for tonight…

Highly Touted

  • Mike Conley (9x) – Put up a dud in his last game after 3 straight games with 20+ points but a favorable matchup with the Lakers should get him back on track
  • Andre Drummond (8x) – The league’s leading rebounder against one of the worst shooting teams in the NBA (Sixers), don’t be surprised if he gets 20+ boards tonight
  • Tobias Harris (8x) – His fantasy production should rise with Stanley Johnson out, not to mention the favorable matchup with the Sixers

Recommended

  • Gorgui Dieng (6x) – Has a double-double in 6 of his last 7 games, seems to end up in my lineup most of the nights he plays
  • Zach Randolph (6x) – Averaging 19.2 points and 8.0 rebounds over his last 5 games, nice matchup with Lakers tonight
  • Russell Westbrook (5x) – Not that you need a reason to play Westbrook but the Thunder have one of the closer Vegas lines and higher totals on the night
  • LeBron James (5x) – Coming off his worst shooting performance of the season, look for a big bounce back tonight
  • Kyle Lowry (5x) – Put up a triple-double on Monday, good pivot option if you don’t want to pay for the higher price PG’s
  • Reggie Jackson (5x) – Averaging 24.3 points over his last 3 games with Brandon Jennings out of town
  • LaMarcus Aldridge (5x) – Strong option tonight against the Kings regardless if Kawhi Leonard plays tonight
  • Danny Green (5x) – Production has been inconsistent but has a favorable matchup against the Kings tonight, cheap option

Suggested

  • Dwyane Wade (4x) – Struggled with his shot in his first game back after the All-Star break, he will need to have a big game tonight for Heat to play with the Warriors
  • DeMar DeRozan (4x) – Scored 35 points against the Timberwolves a couple weeks ago
  • John Wall (4x) – Had a triple-double last night and said after the game that he played poorly, you’ll want him in your lineup tonight if he plays “good” in the of the closest Vegas lines of the night
  • Zach LaVine (4x) – Continues to produce solid numbers most nights, cheaper option
  • Bobby Portis (4x) – Averaging 12.5 points and 8.8 rebounds over his last 4 games, cheaper option
  • Kevin Love (4x) – Big production for Love since the All-Star break averaging 22.7 points and 11 rebounds per game
  • Kevin Durant (3x)
  • Vince Carter (3x)
  • DeAndre Jordan (3x)
  • Chris Paul (3x)
  • Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (3x)
  • Myles Turner (3x)
  • Marcin Gortat (3x)
  • Derrick Rose (3x)
  • Hassan Whiteside (3x)
  • Carmelo Anthony (3x)
  • Deron Williams (3x)
  • E’Twaun Moore (3x)

Hope you find the right combination to cash!
