The numbers in the parenthesis are the number of experts that picked that player to give you more context as to the gaps between players and the tiers. Here are the Industry Consensus picks for tonight…
Highly Touted
- Myles Turner (10) – His price tag continues to rise, but the experts still like him tonight with his 17.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game average over his last 8 games
- Jordan Hill (8) – The second Pacers big man at the top of the list tonight with Ian Mahinmi out and a favorable matchup against the Nets
- Russell Westbrook (7) – Top high-priced player on the list tonight coming off back-to-back triple-doubles
- Kevin Love (7) – Has improved his fantasy production recently under Tyronn Lue, averaging 22.5 points and 9.0 rebounds over his last 4 games
Recommended
- Gorgui Dieng (6) – Averaging 33+ minutes with 17.2 points and 9.2 rebounds over his last 5 games, still reasonably priced
- Jimmy Butler (6) – Big minutes and production expected in a favorable matchup against the Kings in a game that is projected to be close with a high Vegas total
- Klay Thompson (5) – A good option to get some cheaper exposure to the Warriors offense which should be raining 3’s tonight against the Wizards
- Jeremy Lin (5) – Should see increased minutes and usage with Kemba Walker out tonight
Suggested
- Victor Oladipo (4) – Capable of a big night playing in a game with a high Vegas total tonight against the Thunder
- Kyrie Irving (4) – Averaging 24.7 points and 4.7 assists in his last 3 games
- Rudy Gay (4) – He is a solid play with a reasonable price tag, which could turn into a great play if DeMarcus Cousins is out again tonight as he had 32 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists on Monday without Cousins
- LaMarcus Aldridge (4) – Coming off a season-high 28-point effort with 5 blocks
- John Wall (3) – Will need a big night to keep the Wizards close to the Warriors tonight in the game with the highest Vegas total on the night
- Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (3) – Averaging 31 minutes with 16 points and 9.5 rebounds over his first 2 games since returning to Hornets, he also could see an increase in usage with Kemba Walker out and maybe Nicolas Batum out also
- Brook Lopez (3) – Has been huge over his last 5 games, averaging 26.4 points, 9.4 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game
- Aaron Gordon (3) – Has responded well to an increased role including back-to-back double-doubles and is averaging 12.4 points and 11. 4 rebounds over his last 5 games
- Evan Turner (3) – Put up 14 points and 10 rebounds last night
- Robert Covington (3) – Watch injury report to make sure he plays tonight if he does he should continue to get big minutes for the Sixers
- Derrick Favors (3) – He is back to his usual 32+ minutes a game after missing some time and has a “Favor”able matchup against the Nuggets tonight
- Stephen Curry (3) – Has scored less than 15 points in 2 of his last 3 games, don’t expect that trend to continue tonight
- JJ Barea (3) – With Deron Williams and Devin Harris out tonight, look for Barea to get big minutes, cheap option
- Jeff Teague (3) – Coming off his best game of the season with 32 points and 8 assists and gets to face the Sixers tonight
- LeBron James (3) – Big price tag but you know what you are going to get every night
- Kevin Durant (3) – Has scored at least 27 points in 5 straight games
- Harrison Barnes (3) – Option to get cheap exposure to the Warriors offense in a matchup against a Wizards team that has trouble stopping wing players
- DeMarcus Cousins (3) – Watch to make sure he is active tonight before putting him in your lineup, if he is out then players like Willie Cauley-Stein and Rudy Gay will see an increase in value
- Andre Drummond (3) – He should have his way with the Celtics down low tonight
- Norris Cole (3) – Should see big minutes again tonight if Tyreke Evans is out, but has a tough matchup against the Spurs
- Chandler Parsons (3) – Pulled down double-digit rebounds in 2 of his last 3 games
- Nikola Jokic (3) – Coming off his best game of the season with 27 points and 14 rebounds
Hope you find the right combination to cash!
