The order of the top three spots in the overall standings continue to yo-yo back and forth every week between the same three experts. Once again this week we have a new leader, DailyRoto, who had a strong week to propel them back into the top spot. We also see FakePigskin break through to move into second place in the overall standings thanks to a big day on Monday.
In this article, I will give a brief recap of each day we gathered and graded the experts, including how the Industry Consensus picks did, highlighting which experts were at the top for the day and which players were only called out by one or two experts, but produced an “A+” grade. I will also review the overall standings, highlighting the top experts so far this season. You can view the full NBA Overall Standings here.
As a reminder, we are currently gathering selections and publishing the NBA Industry Consensus articles each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday during the NBA season, so be sure to check back about an hour or so before the first game tips off to get a look at the consensus picks for the day.

Monday (Jan 4)
The first Monday night that we tracked at DailyOverlay featured a nice big 10-game slate. The experts performed well with five registering a score over 5.0.

#2 tie) RotoGrinders 6-pack, RotoGrinders Expert Tourney Picks and Fantasy Alarm (Score: 5.33) all finished in a three-way tie for second place. All three had Russell Westbrook. Rodney Hood, Joe Johnson and Draymond Green were also common between two of the three experts. RotoGrinders Expert Tourney picks featured an off the radar selection of Anthony Morrow while FantasyAlarm hit on the low owned Jae Crowder.

#1) DailyRoto (Score: 4.95) moves back into first place this week as the top of the leaderboard continues to get shuffled around every week. DailyRoto had a strong week finishing in the top three on three out of the four days this week.
#2) FakePigskin (Score: 4.93) jumps up into second place in the overall standings thanks to their big first place showing on Monday. They don’t have picks every day, but they have performed well on the days they do have picks available so far this season.
#3) RotoGrinders NBA Grind Down (Score: 4.91) drop back out of first place this week down to third in the overall standings. They came in second place on Friday but had a down week by their standards overall this week with numerous middle of the pack rankings.
The Daily Overlay Industry Consensus picks (Score: 4.54) held their own this week with a few solid days and one poor day. The Industry Consensus picks remained in 6th place in the overall standings out of a total of 14 experts graded this season.
