The Nascar season is winding down with the penultimate race on Sunday at Martinsville Speedway for the Xfinity 500. It looks like a week for a stars and scrubs lineup approach according to the DFS analysts and optimizers.

There is a lot of variables to monitor for NFL Week 8 with injuries and weather that could impact the DFS slate. The weather (winds primarily) could come into play in Green Bay, Chicago, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Buffalo. I don’t like to put too much emphasis on weather impacting fantasy production so there are still plenty of players and spots to use in those games but you might not want to stack up both teams passing games and instead pivot to the players that could benefit from windy conditions.

The Week 7 main slate extends into the Sunday night matchup between the Seahawks and Cardinals due to some late schedule shifting. That night game will be an important one if the DFS analysts and optimizers are right as there are numerous plays on the Weighted Consensus Rankings from that matchup.
