NFL DFS Hot Sheet – Week 8 – 2022

There are a lot of top-scoring offenses that are not on the 11-game NFL main slate on Sunday which especially limits options at quarterback and tight end. However, there is still a plethora of options to choose from at running back and wide receiver which should make for some interesting Cash and GPP builds in DFS this week.

There are still some questions as I write this about who will be the starting quarterback for the Saints on Thursday night. The lineup advice below assumes that it will be either Andy Dalton or Jameis Winston. If for some reason it is Taysom Hill, then Hill instantly becomes the Captain play in Cash games.

The research for NFL DFS Week 6 fell into place way too easily. There is a chunk of obvious chalk plays that will fill Cash games. There are two games that will get all the attention for GPPs, but I think there are a few other really good spots that we can pivot to get away from the high ownership.

NFL – Week 6 Showdown (Thursday) – WSH v CHI

Thursday’s NFL matchup between the Commanders and Bears might not be the most exciting but it should at least be a close one. For the DFS one-game slate, we want to jam in as much volume as possible into our Cash lineup and make a few pivots in GPPs.

It seems like there is a variety of ways to build your NFL DFS Cash game lineup for Week 5 with many players clumped together at each position. That could make a Cash-ish lineup viable in single-entry and three-max GPPs as well. There are still plenty of lower-owned GPP options to consider when playing in large-field contests.
