Welcome to another edition of the Value Index. Today we try to tackle the 13-game main slate. There’s a 2-game early slate, but we aren’t going to focus on it. I personally don’t play 2-game slates, and much prefer 5 games or more. Anyway, after a slate that featured a lot of safe pitching options,…
Here are the Industry Expert Consensus rankings for Monday night’s big 13-game slate. The experts are fairly spread out with eight different pitchers selected by at least three experts and only four hitter stack of three or more players with neither of the teams playing at Coors (Dodgers/Rockies). Be sure to check out our projected…
The Blue Jays are back on top of the stacks with Joey Bats back in the fold. The usual suspects show up from the Jays lineup to create the top stack on the board for the night. If I would have told you that David Phelps would be picked by 12 experts, you would have…
The experts are spread all over the board today. Only three stack options and none with more than four hitters to a stack. With two ace options, there are certainly some salary saving opportunities on the bump. Best of luck! Be sure to check out our projected ownership percentages for Cash and GPP that are…
After a plethora of options last night, the Consensus leaves us a bit short-handed tonight. Odd because we’ve added another expert to the fold which, you would think, would mean more Consensus players. Do you roster Zack Greinke in his first start off the DL? Do you stack the A’s like the Consensus tells you…
Eleven games for this Monday night. There are some potential trouble spots with the weather so make sure to check that prior to lock. The Consensus offers a lot of selection tonight as we have at least four players at each position. There are a whopping 8 stacks from the Consensus tonight…8!!! That should make…
Welcome to the final weekend of baseball before the lull known as the All-Star Break rears its ugly head. I personally only watch about 30 minutes to an hour of the home run derby and that’s about it for me for baseball that week. I don’t care about the exhibition game on Tuesday or who…
Here is the Industry Expert Consensus picks for tonight’s eight-game slate. It looks like the experts are loading up on the Blue Jays hitters again tonight after a successful night from Josh Donaldson and company last night. On the pitching side there are limited choices with very few aces on the mound and a short…
Sometimes BvP numbers are erratic. It’s why it’s a hot-button issue in daily fantasy baseball. I’ve been wanting to try something for some time and it’s using BvP data to predict who is due rather than who is going to do well. What that actually means is using players like Josh Donaldson in situations like…
An afternoon start at Wrigley leaves us with a 14-gamer on Tuesday. There will be three consecutive afternoon starts at Wrigley this week and another on Friday so that does not enable us to use those big boppers in the Cubs lineup to pick on two weak pitching staffs in the Reds and Braves. That’s…
Here is the Industry Expert Consensus picks for tonight’s 10-game slate which features games at hitter-friendly stadiums in Colorado, Arizona and Cincinnati. So it should be no surprise that three of the top stackable teams are playing in those parks tonight. Be sure to check out our new projected ownership percentages for Cash and GPP…
Lots of baseball on tap tonight with a full 15-gamer. A game at Coors means lineups will be stocked full of Diamondbacks and Rockies. Don’t let that deter you from branching out with some potential contrarian plays. Hopefully, our new projected ownership numbers will help you find those contrarian superstars. Let’s get to it. Finally,…
