MLB – On the Hill – Thursday (May 30)

The seven-game MLB slate on Thursday night is one where you will want to spend salary on pitching and save salary on hitting. There are a few good higher-priced pitching options but as you work your way down the pay scale things get ugly in a hurry. Fortunately, there are some good value stacks to consider to make it work out.

PGA – 2019 Memorial – Weighted Consensus

Welcome to the Weighted Consensus for the PGA where we publish a more in-depth version of the PGA Consensus rankings that take into account each expert’s current DailyOverlay score to generate a Weighted Consensus ranking.

To calculate the Weighted Rank Score, each expert’s DailyOverlay score is weighted on a sliding scale from 1 to 5 with the top expert in the current standings being weighted with a five while the last place expert is weighted with a one. If you have ever wondered how to differentiate between two players who were both selected by the same number of experts, then this is the list you need. We will include all players that are selected by at least two experts.

MLB – Industry Expert Consensus – May 29th

There is a big lit of hitters for the Wednesday night MLB DFS slate with a total of 10 stacking options. Be sure to watch those starting lineups closely to pivot to top of the lineup hitters where necessary.

The Weighted Consensus for the MLB is where we publish an in-depth version of rankings every day that considers each expert’s current DailyOverlay score to generate a Weighted Consensus ranking.  To calculate the Weighted Rank Score, each expert’s DailyOverlay score for hitters and pitchers is weighted on a sliding scale from 1 to 5 with the top expert in the current standings being weighted with a five while the last place expert is weighted with a one. MLB – On the Hill – Wednesday (May 29)

There is a modest nine-game MLB slate on Wednesday night, but I really like how it is set up for roster construction. There is an obvious high-priced ace on the hill to roster but there is also a value arm that is in a good spot to help you have salary left over to spend up on a few bats. Outside of Coors Field, you should be able to get some good lower owned stacks.

MLB – On the Hill – Tuesday (May 28)

Tuesday night features a 13-game slate on DraftKings and a 15-gamer on FanDuel with an earlier start time. Pitching is a little bit iffy on the slate despite a few high-priced options to choose from. Instead of paying top dollar, I’m looking to drop down a little bit in salary for my pitchers and spend up on the hitting side with a few prime spots for big run totals.

MLB – On the Hill – Friday (May 24)

The 14-game Friday night MLB slate is a tough nut to crack. We will want to get as much exposure to Coors Field as possible yet finding value pitchers to make it work is a big challenge. In Cash games, I will still pay up at pitcher for one or both of the slots and then plug in a couple of high-priced Rockies sluggers while filling in with cheap hitters who have a pulse and find their way into the lineup. In GPPs, I guess I’ll have to take a shot on some cheap pitchers to make it all work. Let’s dig in!
