Welcome to the Weighted Consensus for the PGA where we publish a more in-depth version of the PGA Consensus rankings that take into account each expert’s current DailyOverlay score to generate a Weighted Consensus ranking.
To calculate the Weighted Rank Score, each expert’s DailyOverlay score is weighted on a sliding scale from 1 to 5 with the top expert in the current standings being weighted with a five while the last place expert is weighted with a one. If you have ever wondered how to differentiate between two players who were both selected by the same number of experts, then this is the list you need. We will include all players that are selected by at least two experts.

There is an eight-game MLB DFS slate on the docket for Wednesday evening. It feels like another night where you will want to spend the extra buck on pitching including an ace returning to face his former club. There are some other strong pitching options in the mid-range but beware of one ace that is more of a target to stack against than to roster.

Monday night’s DFS slate consists of a six-pack of MLB games. There are no lockdown aces on the bump but there are a few strong mid-range options to anchor your pitching. Meanwhile, there are plenty of solid stacks to consider putting together. I expect ownership to be fairly spread out on this slate both on the pitching and hitting side, so pick out your favorites and ride them into the money.

This weekend NASCAR is under the lights Saturday night in Kansas for the Digital Ally 400. A bunch of the high-priced drivers are near the top of the consensus rankings this week but there are a few cheap value options on the list to help balance it out.
The Weighted Consensus for the Nascar uses each expert’s current DailyOverlay score to generate a Weighted Consensus ranking. To calculate the Weighted Rank Score, each expert’s DailyOverlay score for players is weighted on a sliding scale from 1 to 5 with the top expert in the current standings being weighted with a five while the last place expert is weighted with a one. This method gives the higher rated experts picks more weight when compiling the overall player rankings for the day. We will include all players that have a Rank Score over 8.0.

Man, this week seemed to just fly by. It is already Friday (TGIF!) and we have a huge 14-game MLB DFS slate to dissect. As you would expect on a big slate there are a bunch of solid pitching options and stacking potential. On the bump, there are a few high-priced aces, but I prefer to save a few bucks and get my arms from the next tier. Meanwhile, at the plate, it was difficult to whittle it down to three stacks, so a few that piqued my interest but didn’t make the cut included the Phillies, Astros, Reds, and Indians. Let’s dive in!
