NBA – Hot Sheet – January 16

Wednesday night in the Association brings us an eight-game slate. The marquee matchup from a fantasy (DFS) perceptive will be the battle between the Pelicans and Warriors which comes in with a Vegas total over 240 points and a red-hot shooting Warriors club that just hung 142 points on the Nuggets last night. There are plenty of high-priced studs on the slate including James Harden, Anthony Davis, and Giannis Antetokounmpo but without much value opening it might be difficult to get to those guys and feel good about your lineup.

The numbers highlighted in red are in the top 25% of their position for the slate and indicate good plays. Meanwhile, the numbers highlighted in blue are the positions that are in the bottom 25% of their respective position for the slate and are positions to avoid.

NBA – Hot Sheet – January 15

Last night was a huge “Stars and Scars” night in DFS with two high-priced studs to jam in and a ton of value to make it work. Tuesday night is a different ballgame for the six-game slate, at least as of Tuesday morning, as there is not nearly the number of value option to make a Stars and Scars lineup work. So, we are looking at a very balanced approach to lineup construction tonight.

Monday’s six-game slate is falling right into place. There has already been definitive news regarding multiple injuries on the slate which has opened up a ton of value options. There are only a pair of high-priced studs and you should easily be able to get at least one of them and maybe both is you wish. It should be a high-scoring DFS night, let’s go get it!

NFL – DFS Weighted Consensus – Divisional Round

This will be the last NFL Weighted Consensus article of the season as after this week we just have the Conference Championships (2 games) and the Super Bowl. However, the Divisional Round with four games is shaping up as a great weekend of action on the gridiron. See who the DFS experts from around the industry recommend!

In this series, we will publish a consensus of NFL DFS expert’s recommendations that take into account each expert’s current DailyOverlay score to generate a Weighted Consensus ranking for each position. To calculate the Weighted Rank Score, each expert’s DailyOverlay score is weighted on a sliding scale from 1 to 5 with the top expert in the current standings being weighted with a five while the last place expert is weighted with a one. If you have ever wondered how to differentiate between two players who were both selected by the same number of experts, then this is the list you need.

Friday night in the Association bring us a nine-game slate. There is plenty of opportunities opened up in Utah where all three of their PGs are out. This should leave a bunch of minutes and usage for the players that remain for a favorable matchup against the Lakers. The highest Vegas total on the slate are matchup between the Bucks/Wizards and Hawks/Sixers. Let’s start the weekend off right!

NFL – Hot Sheet – Divisional Round

These NFL playoff slates are great for DFS. If you think last weekend was fun, just wait until this weekend where some points might actually be scored as a bunch of high-flying offenses take the field now that we got rid of those defensive clubs like the Ravens and Bears. Fitting in all the players you want will be difficult, so be sure to choose your high-priced studs wisely and be sure to think “upside” for which players could separate themselves from the other players at their position.
