MLB – On the Hill – Tuesday (June 12)

With a full 15-game MLB slate on Tuesday night, I am going to extend my hitting stack recommendations for tonight with a different method to fill out your GPP lineups. Pitching will have my traditional “3 Up” options but be warned it isn’t pretty on the pitching side tonight. Be sure to sign up for […]

MLB – On the Hill – Monday (June 11)

Despite just an eight-game slate on Monday night, it is loaded with strong stacking options. There are six or seven different teams that interest me for stacking purposes. A few that didn’t make my official recommendations but should be considered include the Cardinals, Red Sox, Diamondbacks and Brewers. On the pitching side there are still a handful of solid options to consider and which site you are playing on will likely play a big factor in which pitchers you roster due to salary differences.

MLB Expert Recap and Grades – Week of June 4

There was a lot of movement in the overall standings this week. On the pitching side, DraftKings Playbook takes over the top spot while RotoGrinders Lineup Builder and DailyFantasySportsRankings join the Top 3. Meanwhile, on the hitting side FantasyTeamAdvice’s lead is shrinking with DailyOverlay – On the Hill swapping places with RotoGrinders – Consensus who […]

MLB – Industry Expert Consensus – June 8th

Friday night under the lights brings us a big 14-game MLB DFS slate that has a little bit of everything from numerous high-priced Aces to a game at Coors Field. The Experts have chimed in with their top plays for the slate so read on to find out who is the Ace to own and which four teams have stacks of five or more players on today’s Weighted Consensus Rankings.

The Weighted Consensus for the MLB is where we publish an in-depth version of rankings every day that considers each expert’s current DailyOverlay score to generate a Weighted Consensus ranking.  To calculate the Weighted Rank Score, each expert’s DailyOverlay score for hitters and pitchers is weighted on a sliding scale from 1 to 5 with the top expert in the current standings being weighted with a five while the last place expert is weighted with a one. This method gives the higher rated experts picks more weight when compiling the overall player rankings for the day. We will include all players that generate a Rank Score of at least 8.0.

The MLB Weighted Consensus article will be part of the premium content, so sign up now for a FREE 7-day trial so you don’t miss any of the content here at DailyOverlay.

Scroll to the bottom of the article for the “Top Stacks” section that lists out the teams with the most hitters being recommended by the experts today. Also, be sure to check each team’s lineup when it is released and watch the weather before finalizing your lineups.

MLB – On the Hill – Friday (June 8)

Friday night starts off the weekend with a big 14-game MLB DFS slate that has a plethora of quality high-priced Aces to choose from. On the hitting side we have a game at Coors Field which is always interesting but after that I don’t care for the next tier of teams with the highest Vegas implied run totals either due to the matchup or salaries, so I’m going to provide only one “Top Stack” and two “Contrarian Stacks” to consider for Friday’s slate.

MLB – On the Hill – Thursday (June 7) – Main

The Thursday night five-game MLB slate is all about two teams. You can probably guess one of them with Gerrit Cole taking the mound for the Astros as the only ace pitching option on the slate while the Astros hitters get the warm temps in Texas against the lefty stylings of Cole Hamel serving up some long balls. But to find out the second team that I am all-in on for the Thursday night slate you will need to sign up for our Premium Content (at least get the 7-day FREE trial).

MLB – Industry Expert Consensus – June 6th

There is one pitcher that stands alone at the top the MLB DFS Expert Weighted Consensus for Wednesday night’s 10-game slate and I doubt it is who you would suspect. On the hitting side, there is a total of five teams that are stackable, led by two five-player stacks.

MLB – On the Hill – Wednesday (June 6)

Some MLB DFS slates are black and white but Wednesday evenings 10-game slate is a little more “gray” than usual. The slate has a variety of higher priced pitching options to choose from but one pitcher stands alone at the top of my list. Zeroing in on my top stacks of the night was a little more difficult as it may be a night to roster more mini-stacks instead of full ones.
