PGA – 2018 CareerBuilder Challenge – Weighted Consensus

Welcome to the Weighted Consensus for the PGA where we publish a more in-depth version of the PGA Consensus rankings that take into account each expert’s current DailyOverlay score to generate a Weighted Consensus ranking.

To calculate the Weighted Rank Score, each expert’s DailyOverlay score is weighted on a sliding scale from 1 to 5 with the top expert in the current standings being weighted with a five while the last place expert is weighted with a one. If you have ever wondered how to differentiate between two players who were both selected by the same number of experts, then this is the list you need. We will include all players that are selected by at least two.

Be sure to sign up a FREE 7-day trial of our Premium Content to find out which high-priced Stud and Value options sit atop the expert’s list.

NBA – Hot Sheet – Wednesday (Jan 17)

Wednesday features our first big slate of the week with 20 teams taking the hardwood in a 10-game NBA slate. As with any big slate, there are plenty of options to consider and injuries to monitor. Be sure to check back shortly for today’s NBA What If for all the injuries to watch heading into Wednesday’s slate. Since there were so many players to consider on a big slate, here are a few bonus recommendations of players that just missed the cut for my Droppin’ Dimes list: Russell Westbrook, LaMarcus Aldridge, Hassan Whiteside, Jrue Holiday, Lauri Markkanen, E’Twaun Moore, Jordan Bell and Davis Bertens.

The grid below is a snapshot of today’s slate that shows the overall rating for each position for each team. The numbers highlighted in red are the positions that are in the top 25% of their position for the slate and indicate good plays. Meanwhile, the numbers highlighted in blue are the positions that are in the bottom 25% of their respective position for the slate and are positions to avoid.

NBA – Industry Expert Consensus – January 16th

Tuesday features just a compact four-game slate that includes all four games nestling in with a Vegas total between 210 and 218 points each. The slate is also void of many high-priced studs which should lead to a lot of balanced lineup constructions which is good since there aren’t many cheap value options to choose […]

NFL – Hot Sheet – Divisional Round

It was a pretty entertaining Wild Card round with two road underdogs pulling off the upset and all four of the underdogs covering the spread last weekend. Will the underdogs fare as well in this week’s Divisional round? My suspicion is the dogs will continue to bite. The games this weekend setup where I like the passing games on Saturday and the running games on Sunday. It should be another fun weekend of playoff games and the final “real” week of NFL DFS.
