MLB – Industry Expert Consensus – June 7th

Funny how Scooter Gennett makes the Consensus list on Wednesday after slugging four homers on Tuesday night. His ownership will certainly be higher tonight than yesterday as our ownership projection model puts him at 15% in Cash games and 12% in GPPs. Play or fade, however he performs tonight the other side will say “I […]

MLB – On the Hill – June 7

So, who had Scooter “4 HR” Gennett last night?!?! I checked the experts picks and not a single site we track had him. If you did manage to land on him in a lineup, congrats, but four homers is just insane for a light hitting 2B. Unreal!

While we have a nice 12-games Wednesday night MLB slate that I will provide recommendations for below, the afternoon slate has some intrigue despite just three games with a Clayton Kershaw versus Stephen Strasburg matchup and a game at Coors Field. It might be a fun little slate to stick a couple GPP lineups into. The night slate doesn’t have that level of pitching options to choose from but does offer a couple of ace pitchers to choose between.

MLB – On the Hill – June 6

Tuesday has a full 15-game slate of MLB action that offers a lot of interesting decisions that will need to be made. We have games in great hitting environments in Colorado, Arizona and Texas. We also have a gaggle of high-priced stud pitching options to choose from which could make lineup construction interesting tonight. We […]

MLB – Industry Expert Consensus – June 5th

Wow, ownership is going to be all over the place for Monday night’s seven-game slate. The DFS experts have a wide variety of favorites for tonight’s games with five pitchers projected to exceed 25% ownership but none over 50%. Meanwhile, on the hitting side, there are six teams that have at least five-man hitter stacks in play. Bottom line, just go with your favorite pitchers and hitter stacks and don’t worry about ownership. It could be a wild night.

MLB – On the Hill – June 5

Well, that sure felt like a short weekend. I guess that’s what happens the weekend after a long Memorial Day weekend and when you travel out of town to a water park for the weekend with the kids. It’s good to get back into the groove of a new week and the MLB breaks us […]

MLB – On the Hill – June 2

Happy Friday to everyone! I know it was a short week coming off the Memorial Day holiday on Monday but it still felt like it took forever for Friday to arrive. It must be the nice weather we finally have here in the Midwest.

The Friday night slate consists of 14 games with the Cubs and Cards playing a matinee in Wrigley. The slate features a ton of high-priced ace pitching options and quite a few solid value options as well. All of the solid pitching and no games in Coors Field or Chase Field made finding stacks a little more difficult but of course, there is always a few worth consideration. Get your DFS lineups set then head out to start off your weekend right.

MLB – On the Hill – June 1

With just a four-game slate on Thursday night, this will be a more abbreviated version of my recommendations than normal. The top option on the small slate seem pretty straight forward for Cash games with one ace pitcher and a few good teams to include but in GPPs anything goes.

MLB – On the Hill – May 31

Plenty of ace pitching options to choice from on the nine-game Wednesday night slate but there are a couple of key indicators that have me leaning toward an option that I think might not be the most popular choice. After the aces, the pitching options get pretty slim, pretty fast but I have a Darkhorse option that pitched well in his last outing and could surprise tonight. On the hitting side, there are two stacks that I love up and down their entire lineup but then there aren’t a lot of options that jump out.

MLB – On the Hill – May 30

Hopefully everyone had a fun, safe holiday weekend. Tuesday sees the MLB return to a usual schedule with the holiday behind us we have a 14-games of action on the night slate, minus the Indians and their goofy one hour early start time. The Tuesday slate has a lot of intrigue with Chris Sale returning […]
