The 2018 NFL regular season is in the books, as is our DFS Expert Grading for the year. FantasyTeamAdvice came out on top of the leaderboard for the season, closely followed by the rise of the machines with RotoGrinders – Lineup Builder and DailyFantasyNerd to round out the Top 3. DFSArmy and RotoGrinders – Consensus finish off the Top 5.
Meanwhile, our Industry Consensus picks had a great season finishing in 6th place out of 23 experts graded this season.
We will continue to post Weighted Consensus picks through the playoffs but will no longer grade them.

Head of the Class – Season
Here are the top experts in the final Overall Standings of the season, including which site has provided the top DraftKings points per $1000 of salary.
#1) FantasyTeamAdvice (Score: 3.98) takes the top spot for the 2018 NFL season. They were near the top of the leaderboard all season long.
#2) RotoGrinders – Lineup Builder (Score: 3.93) led a strong showing by the machines this season with a 2nd place finish overall. They also had the highest DK Pts/$1000 for the season.
#3) DailyFantasyNerd (Score: 3.91) flirted with the top spot a couple of times this season but finished in 3rd overall for another strong showing by their projections and algorithm.
#4) DFSArmy (Score: 3.90) was a new addition this season and performed very well coming in 4th place on the overall leaderboard.
#5) RotoGrinders – Consensus (Score: 3.83) uses an average of their experts which provides a strong group of players to consider rostering every week.

The DailyOverlay Industry Consensus had a very strong year just missing the top 5 by coming in 6th place on the Overall Leaderboard. The shift to splitting the recommendations out between Cash and GPP helped the consensus climb the leaderboard.

QB (Score: 2.00 / Rank 8th out of 18) – Lamar Jackson was the best player on the list receiving an “A” grade.
RB (Score: 6.67 / Rank 4th out of 18) – The Consensus crushed it at RB with “A+” grades from Saquon Barkley, Chris Carson, Royce Freeman and C.J. Anderson.
WR (Score: 2.67 / Rank 9th out of 18) – Top plays on the consensus list were Chris Godwin (A+) and Julian Edelman (B).
TE (Score: 4.60 / Rank 4th out of 17) – Consensus was led by George Kittle and Evan Engram as two of the top three scoring TEs on the slate.
