We are entering crunch time for the NFL with fantasy playoffs in full swing in season-long leagues. NFL teams trying to solidify their playoff spot and seeding. And the NFL DFS experts jockeying for positioning down the stretch to be crowned top DFS expert for the 2016 NFL season. The race is tight among the top five experts as we head into the final three weeks of the season with DailyFantasySportsRankings making a move this week as the top expert which has propelled them into third place in the overall standings.

Consensus Recap – Week 14
The Industry Consensus picks finished near the middle of the pack this week with a 12th place finish out of 21 experts graded.
QB (Score: 3.25 / Rank 9th out of 21) – Without any quarterbacks posting huge fantasy days in Week 14 the Consensus list had a solid week including an “A+” from Aaron Rodgers and “A’s” from Andrew Luck and Tyrod Taylor.
RB (Score: 3.44 / Rank 12th out of 21) – Running back was all about Le’Veon Bell this week and he did sit atop the Consensus list this week. Other strong plays on the list included Jeremy Hill, Lamar Miller and David Johnson.
WR (Score: 2.50 / Rank 12th out of 21) – Wide receiver was a more difficult position to navigate this week. The Consensus ended up near the middle of the pack led by Robby Anderson, Odell Beckham Jr. and TY Hilton.
TE (Score: 2.89 / Rank 9th out of 21) – The Consensus list did well at tight end this week including the top two at the position with Zach Ertz and Tyler Eifert.
D/ST (Score: 3.60 / Rank 7th out of 21) – Defense was the strongest position for the Consensus list this week with solid selections that included the Dolphins and Buccaneers defenses.
Head of the Class – Week 14
Each week I will highlight a few of the top experts for the week. Here are the experts that deserve a “gold star” for Week 14 based on their cumulative grades for all players they touted this week.
#1) DailyFantasySportsRankings (Score: 5.47) rides a strong week into the top spot in Week 14 with 11 out of 15 selections receiving a grade of “B” or better. Key selections included Aaron Rodgers, Matt Ryan, Le’Veon Bell, TY Hilton, Tyler Eifert and Zach Ertz.
#2) DailyFantasyCafe (Score: 5.29) put together another good week to finish in second place with 10 out of 14 selections receiving a grade of “B” or better. Their picks were led by Aaron Rodgers, Le’Veon Bell, Robby Anderson, Carlos Hyde and Davante Adams.
#3) FantasyTeamAdvice (Score: 4.50) rounds out the top three with three out of four selections receiving a grade of “B” or better including value picks of Robby Anderson and Lamar Miller.
Top Value – DailyFantasyCafe (3.59 DK Pts/$1000) provided the top value plays of the week with key value picks of Robby Anderson, Cameron Meredith and Buccaneers defense.
Head of the Class – Week 14 (By Position)
Sometimes there is just that one class that you excel in. In this section, I will highlight who the top experts were at each position for Week 14.
QB –DailyFantasyCafe (10.00) was led by their selections lone QB selection of Aaron Rodgers.
RB – DailyFantasyCafe (7.67) takes home first at RB as well this week led by selections of Le’Veon Bell and Carlos Hyde.
WR – FantasyTeamAdvice (10.00) led at WR with their value play of Robby Anderson.
TE – Rotowire (10.00) topped the TE position thanks to their selection of Zach Ertz.
DST – DailyFantasyNerd (10.00) received an “A+” from their only selection of the Dolphins this week.
Study Time – Week 14
If we are going to give a gold star to the top experts of the week, we also need to determine which experts might need to put in some extra study time to pull up those grades. Here are the Week 14 experts that didn’t make the grade this week.
- Scout Fantasy (Score: 1.11) had another rough week with six of their nine selections receiving a grade of “D” or “F”. They were let down by picks of Jameis Winston, Mike Evans and Ted Ginn Jr.
- Rotoballer (Score: 1.45) had a poor week for the second straight week with six picks receiving a grade of “F” out of 11 selections. Some of the disappointing performances came from Tyrell Williams, Devonta Freeman, Rex Burkhead and Ladarius Green.

Here are the top experts in the Overall Standings after Week 14 of the season, including which site has provided the top DraftKings points per $1000 of salary.
#1) DailyFantasyNerd (Score: 3.81) continues to hold onto the top spot in the overall standings through Week 14 thanks to a strong fifth place finish this week.
#2) FantasyTeamAdvice (Score: 3.65) clings to second place in the overall standings with a third place finish in Week 14.
#3) DailyFantasySportsRankings (Score: 3.46) leaps into third place in the overall standings with an excellent first place effort in Week 14 and is making a late-season charge up the standings.
#4) DailyFantasyCafe (Score: 3.45) remains in fourth place and is still in striking distance to move up with a strong second place finish in Week 14.
#5) DailyOverlay – Value Index (Score: 3.42) had a solid sixth place finish in Week 14 but still fell two spots with DFSR and DFC both having a big week. Still in contention to move back up with three weeks to go.
