PGA – 2019 Valero Texas Open – Weighted Consensus

Welcome to the Weighted Consensus for the PGA where we publish a more in-depth version of the PGA Consensus rankings that take into account each expert’s current DailyOverlay score to generate a Weighted Consensus ranking.

To calculate the Weighted Rank Score, each expert’s DailyOverlay score is weighted on a sliding scale from 1 to 5 with the top expert in the current standings being weighted with a five while the last place expert is weighted with a one. If you have ever wondered how to differentiate between two players who were both selected by the same number of experts, then this is the list you need. We will include all players that are selected by at least two experts.

MLB – On the Hill – Wednesday (April 3)

Wednesday’s On the Hill article will focus on the small five-game evening slate of games. With the small slate, there are very limited value hitting options and only three pitchers that I’m comfortable with rostering. As for stacking, I’m zeroing in on a game stack which could be a little lower owned then some of […]

MLB – On the Hill – Tuesday (April 2)

The Opening Day aces have made their way back around in the rotation for Tuesday’s 10-game main slate. With numerous higher priced pitching options to choose from I’ll give you my top options at some different price points and offer up a couple reasonably priced stacking options if you want to try to squeeze one […]

MLB – On the Hill – Monday (April 1)

I’m back from vacation and ready to fire up another season of my MLB On the Hill column. And that is no April Fool’s Day joke. Since this is the first MLB slate I have analyzed this season, it may take me a few days to get back into my researching groove. So, with that, […]

NBA – Hot Sheet – March 22

This will be my last NBA Hot Sheet article of the season. It becomes increasingly difficult to produce an article for an ever-changing NBA slate with late scratches and injury news at this point in the season. I will also be on vacation part of next week (Vegas baby!) and the MLB season is just […]

NBA – Hot Sheet – March 21

We have a six-game NBA slate on Thursday night and it is surprisingly fairly quiet on the injury front so far. Of course, that can all change in an instant this time of year so be sure to keep a close on the newswire leading up to tip-off. My list of top plays came together pretty easily, so give is a look!

The grid below is a snapshot of today’s slate that shows the overall rating for each position for each team. The numbers highlighted in red are in the top 25% of their position for the slate and indicate good plays. Meanwhile, the numbers highlighted in blue are the positions that are in the bottom 25% of their respective position for the slate and are positions to avoid.
