MLB – On the Hill – Wednesday (August 14) – Main

I’m going to provide my recommendations for the six-game Wednesday night MLB DFS slate. My preferred pitching options came together quite easily on the small slate with a good option at the high, middle, and low end of the salary spectrum. All teams are worth at least some consideration to stack on a small slate but I’ll give you my favorite three options.

MLB – On the Hill – Tuesday (August 13)

Another big 15-game MLB DFS slate for Tuesday night. As you would expect with a large slate there are plenty of options on the mound and to stack up. On the pitching side, you can either go with a balanced/mid-range approach or go the Ace/Value route. On the hitting side, it seems like a night to use some of those fringe stacking options including a few that didn’t quite make the cut for me like the Cubs, Reds, Phillies, and Braves.

MLB – On the Hill – Monday (August 12)

Monday’s eight-game MLB slate is severely lacking pitching options. This makes it easy to recommend a bunch of stacks, but I’ve tried to narrow it down to my favorite three. Others to consider that didn’t happen to make the list include the Rockies, Yankees, and the matchup between the Nationals and Reds if you want a sneaky game stack. Also, check out which cheap pitching options I’m willing to roll the dice with to fit in some of the high-priced stacking options.

Nascar – 2019 Consumers Energy 400 – Industry Expert Consensus

The Weighted Consensus for the Nascar uses each expert’s current DailyOverlay score to generate a Weighted Consensus ranking. To calculate the Weighted Rank Score, each expert’s DailyOverlay score for players is weighted on a sliding scale from 1 to 5 with the top expert in the current standings being weighted with a five while the last place expert is weighted with a one. This method gives the higher rated experts picks more weight when compiling the overall player rankings for the day. We will include all players that have a Rank Score over 8.0.

Friday delivers a 14-game MLB DFS slate for us to dissect. There are a bunch of strong pitching options to consider from the high-priced studs to some mid-range diamonds in the rough and a good value play. There are also enough strong stacking options that ownership shouldn’t get to crazy on any of them, so just roll with your favorite options or use mine.

MLB – Industry Expert Consensus – August 8th

On Thursday night’s eight-game MLB slate, the DFS analysts have half of the team on the stackable list. Meanwhile, on the bump there are seven pitchers to choose from when filling out those DFS lineups including three hurlers that were recommended by at least 10 analysts. Find out who in today’s Weighted Consensus Rankings…

The Weighted Consensus for the MLB is where we publish an in-depth version of rankings every day that considers each expert’s current DailyOverlay score to generate a Weighted Consensus ranking.  To calculate the Weighted Rank Score, each expert’s DailyOverlay score for hitters and pitchers is weighted on a sliding scale from 1 to 5 with the top expert in the current standings being weighted with a five while the last place expert is weighted with a one. This method gives the higher rated experts picks more weight when compiling the overall player rankings for the day. We will include all players that generate a Rank Score of at least 8.0.

There are eight games on the docket for Thursday night around the MLB. It might be a tough slate to navigate as there doesn’t seem to be much value to roster on the mound nor at the plate. I’ll still try to give you a few guys in my stacks and on the mound that you can consider.

PGA – 2019 Northern Trust – Expert Consensus

This weekend the Top 125 players will start to compete for the Tour Championship over the next few weeks. They start with The Northern Trust which finds a few value options at the top of the Consensus Rankings.

To calculate the Weighted Rank Score, each expert’s DailyOverlay score is weighted on a sliding scale from 1 to 5 with the top expert in the current standings being weighted with a five while the last place expert is weighted with a one. If you have ever wondered how to differentiate between two players who were both selected by the same number of experts, then this is the list you need. We will include all players that have a DailyOverlay Score of over 5.0.

MLB – On the Hill – Tuesday (August 6)

We have a jam-packed 15-game MLB DFS slate on tap for Tuesday night. Despite the large slate, I found it pretty easy to zero in on my top plays on the mound and at the plate. On the hill, I think you either need to pay up for a high-priced pitcher or two. Or dig down for a deep value option that won’t hurt you. Meanwhile, on the hitting side, I have locked in three reasonably priced stacking options that should carry to much ownership.
