MLB – On the Hill – June 16

Friday’s slate is a jam-packed 15-gamer with good pitching options and Coors Field. I have a “gut call” for my Darkhorse pitcher and had a hard time narrowing down all the stack options. Start off your Father’s Day weekend with some Pitchers and Stacks. Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there including mine and thanks to my wife and kids for putting up with my fantasy sports obsession.

MLB – On the Hill – June 15

Thursday night features a nice, tidy little seven-game slate of MLB matchups. I like slates that fall into the 7-11 game range for MLB. It allows me to dig a little deeper into the matchups and is a nice range to play both Cash and GPP contests. Tonight’s slate features one high-priced stud pitching option and a game at Coors Field. It will be difficult (but not impossible) to fit both into a lineup but with a couple of other good value arms on the slate I like, you might not have to pay up for Sale.

MLB – On the Hill – June 14

There is an 11-game MLB slate for Wednesday night that will be the focus of my recommendations today. There are not a lot of strong pitching options with a couple of pitchers in consideration for my Ace pick of the night and then a lot of question marks to sort through. Of course, when pitching isn’t very deep that means there is a gaggle of teams that are stackable but I’m focusing most of my attention to one game that I think is worth using a game stack. See which one by signing up for a free 7-day trial.

MLB – On the Hill – June 13

Tuesday is Clayton Kershaw Day but I’m going to pivot off of him tonight. Kershaw has a few things going against him tonight. He is on the road. He is pitching in an American League park (DH). He is facing a good team (Indians) who do not strike out too often versus lefties (17.7%). And […]

MLB – Industry Expert Consensus – June 12th

If the MLB DFS Industry experts are correct there will be a wide variety of hitting stacks in play on Monday night’s nine-game slate. Half of the 18 teams playing show up with at least three hitters on the Weighted Consensus list tonight including five teams with at least five hitters to stack. The pitching side is a little more obvious with Stephen Strasburg the clear cut #1 option but after that seven different pitchers that come up very close together in the rankings. Subscribe to our premium content to find out who is #2.

MLB – On the Hill – June 12

We start out the week with a nine-game slate on Monday night. Pitching is kind of strange tonight. There looks like there are quite a few good pitchers on the mound but the more I dig into their numbers and recent performances the more I don’t really like very many of them. The hitting side […]

MLB – Industry Expert Consensus – June 9th

Friday’s 14-game slate of MLB action looks to be wide open. The DFS analysts give us a big list of options at every position. Other than Corey Kluber and Mookie Betts, ownership percentages are relatively flat and there are only three teams with more than a three-player stack. Pick your favorites from the list, build some lineups and enjoy the weekend!

MLB – On the Hill – June 9

Friday’s slate kicks off the weekend with a 14-game slate. The slate only has one high-priced stud pitcher to choose from (Corey Kluber), so spoiler alert, he is my ace. However, there are a few inexpensive value arms that also offer intrigue tonight with good matchups and some upside. My hitting stacks are a little chalkier tonight than last night’s recommendation of the Marlins which hit for eight runs.

MLB – On the Hill – June 8

If you haven’t noticed yet there is a $0 salary player on FanDuel for Thursday night’s eight-game slate. Ramon Torres who is listed at SS on FanDuel for $0 was just recalled by the Royals and went 2-for-4 with a double and a RBI last night. This will surely spark debate just like Kike Hernandez did last season with a similar situation. My take is that there are not enough players worth paying up for on the slate to warrant playing him in a tough matchup while batting ninth (assuming he even plays). I might consider throwing him in one GPP lineup if he starts but that’s about it.
