I want to give a big thanks to Stephen for providing some really good DraftKings lineups while I was away over the last week plus. Also if you haven’t been checking out his FantasyDraft lineups you are missing out as he currently holds an +84% ROI. I am glad to be back providing DraftKings lineups again.

Here is a list of the “rules” we are following when constructing lineups:

  1. We will make two separate lineups for each site (FanDuel and DraftKings), one for Cash games and one for GPP tournaments.
  2. For Cash games, we will build the core of our lineup from the Consensus list using any player listed regardless of what tier they are in and will be allowed to choose 1 player that is not on the Consensus list that we consider to be a good play.
  3. For GPP games, we are allowed to choose up to add 2-3 players that are not on the Consensus list to help complete a hitter stack or we consider to be a good play.
  4. We can modify any lineup as we see fit for any late-breaking lineup news that opens up good options even if they are not on the Consensus list.

As always be sure to check for late-breaking news regarding weather and lineups.

Cash Game Lineup

fd50507.26

Cash Narrative – Ervin Santana in the Cash game. Even against the Braves it makes me sick. Needed the salary relief to play by the rules though. A strong lineup though to pair with it.

GPP Lineup

 fdgpp7.26

GPP Narrative – Lucas Harrell!! Total gut call, roll of the dice (probably stupid) play. Stacks of NL Central with Brewers and Reds. Todd Frazier is my other off the board play.

Entrant – Brad- DraftKings

Cash Game Lineup

Cash

Cash Narrative – Grabbing the top two pitchers from the Consensus tonight with Salazar and Stroman. I picked Tillman over Stroman in my “On the Hill” article today but it was close so I will go with the Consensus in my Cash lineup. Love how the hitters played out but couldn’t squeeze Altuve into my lineup so I went with Lowrie as my only off the board play.

GPP Lineup

GPP

GPP Narrative – Going with “Suited Connectors” in my GPP lineup tonight. I have been getting away from that concept lately so I plan to use it this week in my GPP lineups. Tonight I was able to get four great pairs of hitters who are all from the Consensus except for Adam Jones. By loading up at hitter I am paying down at pitcher with two of my pitchers from my “On the Hill” column today both of whom have big strikeout upside including Liriano who I expect to be very low owned.

Cash Game Lineup

FND Cash

Cash Narrative – Looking back at today’s BvP for MVP, I really don’t know why I didn’t include Manny Machado. He’s super cheap on FantasyDraft and DraftKings (dual position too!). You are going to see him in both lineups. Chris Davis also is super cheap for the upside, so he too is in both. I like Salazar and love Stroman tonight and feel they are the safest options. I realize I have a stack of Orioles here, but I like them all! Jason Heyward was a steal at his price against the always HR-prone James Shields. He’s my off-the-board play.

GPP Lineup

gpp

GPP Narrative – If you read today’s BvP for MVP, you notice I mention how Tom Koehler probably should be on my list of picks. He’s owned the Phillies this year and in the past, and playing in the comforts of home. I like him a lot more now that I have had a chance to sleep on him, even if he isn’t the greatest pitcher in the world. I am going all in against Mike Pelfrey and that mediocre Tigers bullpen. This is where Mike Pelfrey will do his best Nolan Ryan impression and pitch a no-no in Fenway (reverse psychology!). Tyler Skaggs once had a lot of upside and is pitching for the first time since TJ surgery. He may not pitch deep, but I can’t roster Bud Norris and Skaggs allowed me to produce one heck of a lineup of bats.
