Maybe tonight is the night I finally break thru with my DraftKings GPP lineup (it has been waaaayyyy too long), good thing my Cash lineups are carrying me. Matt put up a big number with his FanDuel Cash lineup last night and Stephen will look to get back in the “win” column on FantasyAces. Good luck tonight!
Here is a list of the “rules” we are following when constructing lineups:
- We will make two separate lineups for each site (FanDuel and DraftKings), one for Cash games and one for GPP tournaments.
- For Cash games, we will build the core of our lineup from the Consensus list using any player listed regardless of what tier they are in and will be allowed to choose 1 player that is not on the Consensus list that we consider to be a good play.
- For GPP games, we are allowed to choose up to add 2-3 players that are not on the Consensus list to help complete a hitter stack or we consider to be a good play.
- We can modify any lineup as we see fit for any late-breaking lineup news that opens up good options even if they are not on the Consensus list.

Cash Game Lineup
Cash Narrative – The Cash game was really strong last night. Wish that I would have played the same lineup in the GPP format…oh well! Samardzija brings a similar style to the bump as Cueto last night and Johnny dominated the Padres. Off the board with Raburn in order to make the salary work and he’s provided some nice pop so far this year for the Rocks.
GPP Lineup
GPP Narrative – Going with the stacks that the Consensus suggested. Playing Castellanos (off the board play) with Maybin and JD Martinez for a Tigers stack. As for the Sox, I’ll play Bogaerts, Hanley and Chris Young. Stephen Vogt at that cheap of a price is a steal, IMO. He’s not having the year that he did in 2015 but still provides power potential. Playing Wong again tonight as an off the board play.

Cash Game Lineup
Cash Narrative – Needed to pay up to get two pitchers from the Consensus tonight. I was still able to get some good hitters to fill out my lineup including one off the board play with Rickard hitting atop the Orioles lineup.
GPP Lineup
GPP Narrative – Stacking the bottom of the Red Sox lineup including two Consensus plays (Hanley and Young) and two off the board plays (Bradley Jr. and Rutledge). Filling in with some value hitters with HR upside including off the board play of Ackley while getting two of the top pitchers of the night.

Lineup Narrative – Man, you pick two pitchers who go ham and pitch complete-game shutouts and you can’t cash in a GPP OR a cash game? Very weird night. Though if I had played Motter over Mahtook, that would’ve made the night. I guess I should quit trying to bend the rules a bit for cash games, eh? Anyway, I am going to be a slight rule breaker and go off-the-board again with a few BvP plays mixed in from my picks today. Dustin Ackley and John Jaso are off-the-board plays from the Consensus. I love David Price at home today against the Rockies strikeout potential. Teheran is affordable here whereas he is extravagantly expensive on DraftKings. I will get exposure to Samardzija in some fashion tonight as well. I am all in on Red Sox and Pirates today along with some D-Backs sprinkled in. Good luck all!
