It was difficult to make a winning lineup with the Consensus list last night as we took a donut across all of our lineups. Hopefully the Consensus list produces a better mix of players for tonight’s eight-game slate and we can bounce back.
Here is a list of the “rules” we are following when constructing lineups:
- We will make two separate lineups for each site (FanDuel and DraftKings), one for Cash games and one for GPP tournaments.
- For Cash games, we will build the core of our lineup from the Consensus list using any player listed regardless of what tier they are in and will be allowed to choose 1 player that is not on the Consensus list that we consider to be a good play.
- For GPP games, we are allowed to choose up to add 2-3 players that are not on the Consensus list to help complete a hitter stack or we consider to be a good play.
- We can modify any lineup as we see fit for any late-breaking lineup news that opens up good options even if they are not on the Consensus list.

Cash Game Lineup
Cash Narrative – Need to get back on track after an 0-fer last night. Iwakuma against the A’s seems like the safest bet among the crap pitching options tonight. Off the board with Mahtook who is hitting in the 2-hole in the Tampa lineup, who is surprisingly putting up solid offensive numbers.
GPP Lineup
GPP Narrative – I’ll play Guerra’s upside at the pitcher spot and hope he racks up the K’s like he’s done so far. Stack of three O’s with Davis, Machado and Jones (off the board). Small stacks of Red Sox and Rays as Souza is my other off the board play.

Cash Game Lineup
Cash Narrative – Able to get plenty of big bats with no high-priced pitching to pay up for tonight. All players in my Cash lineup are from the Consensus including most of the highly touted players.
GPP Lineup
GPP Narrative – Going with a chalk stack of hitters (Red Sox) tonight along with a pair of Yankees including an off the board play with Ellsbury. Trying to go a little more contrarian at pitcher with Wright and Foltynewicz who ranked a distant third and fourth in the pitcher rankings on the Consensus list.

Wednesday Lineup
Lineup Narrative – I very much am playing tonight like a tournament because there is just all kinds of ugliness for picking pitchers. Everyone is going to be on the Sox. I am not fading them completely, but i am going to ride the coattails of Jackie Bradley. Why not until the streak ends. He’s got a baby on the way and I am willing to bet he keeps this going up until the birth of the baby at least. Chad Bettis is nothing to write home about either. I am also pairing the pitchers from the Braves/Brewers game. I ike Foltynewicz upside against a team that strikes out the most against RH pitching and was lit up by Teheran last night for 13 Ks. Phil Gosselin is my off-the-board play punt who is up against an awful lefty in Jeff Locke. He should hit in the two-hole tonight for the D’Backs. Jose Bautista, Beltran and McCann are solid BvP options for tonight. good luck tonight!
