While my Cash game lineups on DraftKings have fared very well going 14-5 over my last 19 lineups, but GPP lineups have been horrible failing to cash 17 straight days (unreal). So tonight I am shaking things up again with my GPP lineup shifting to entering into a single entry tournament and going back to my “suited connectors” concept of selecting 2-3 players from various teams in good spots to spread my risk out but still give me some upside.  We’ll see if it helps, it can’t hurt.

Matt and Stephen are also back in full swing with lineups for FanDuel and FantasyAces, so let’s go win some money tonight!

Here is a list of the “rules” we are following when constructing lineups:

  1. We will make two separate lineups for each site (FanDuel and DraftKings), one for Cash games and one for GPP tournaments.
  2. For Cash games, we will build the core of our lineup from the Consensus list using any player listed regardless of what tier they are in and will be allowed to choose 1 player that is not on the Consensus list that we consider to be a good play.
  3. For GPP games, we are allowed to choose up to add 2-3 players that are not on the Consensus list to help complete a hitter stack or we consider to be a good play.
  4. We can modify any lineup as we see fit for any late-breaking lineup news that opens up good options even if they are not on the Consensus list.

As always be sure to check for late-breaking news regarding weather and lineups.

Cash Game Lineup

fd50505.31

Cash Narrative – Let’s load up on Redbirds against Wily Peralta in Milwaukee. Gerrit Cole keeps up the scoreless streak that Locke started in Miami yesterday. The weather scares me a bit in Colorado so I may be forced to make a late switch but hopefully not. Off the board play is Pillar.

GPP Lineup

GPP Narrative – I actually filled this lineup out first thing this morning for the Super Rally contest on FD. I’ll roll with it for our purposes here. Let’s pray for no rain at Coors and hope the Reds keep lighting up the scoreboard. I went against Jon Gray last week and it didn’t work out but I’ll roll the dice again. Off the board plays are Molina and Granderson.

Cash Game Lineup

Cash

Cash Narrative – Paying up for pitching and finding as much value hitters as I can from the Consensus list. I did need to use one cheap off the board play with Gordan Beckham batting second to make the lineup work.

GPP Lineup

GPP

GPP Narrative – Loading up on hitters with three sets of “suited connectors” – Reds (Cozart/Vott), Twins (Dozier Sano), Rockies (Blackmon/Gonzalez). My only off the board play is at pitcher with Eduardo Rodriguez who I featured as my Darkhorse pitcher selection today in my “On the Hill” article.

Lineup Narrative – It’s good to be back! I love the Rockies bats tonight, just hope the weather cooperates, which is my only hesitation here. Matz is in a prime spot and Nola is up against the Nats who are without Bryce Harper. I have Clint Robinson in as my scratch fill in and I don’t like the idea of pairing a bat with one of my pitchers, but to save salary here I needed the option at first base. I actually really like Jon Gray tonight and I will have exposure to him elsewhere, but that’s why I am fading Reds’ bats here. Hopefully, Carpenter and Conforto can do some damage against two gas cans. Carpenter, along with Lucroy and Dozier, are a few of my BvP picks for tonight. Rob Refsnyder in the two-hole and Orlando, who is spitting hot fire right now, are my off-the-board plays. Good luck!
