We had some strong Cash game lineups last night with Matt getting back in the win column on FanDuel and my DraftKings lineup finishing 4th out of 100 entries in my 50/50. Now that I’ve been able to string together a few Cash game wins together (5 straight) on DraftKings it is time to focus on changing up my GPP strategy a little bit. The large 4 or 5 player stacks haven’t been hitting (literally) using either a chalk stack or lesser owned stack, so tonight I will go back to my “Suited Connectors” concept to see if I can get a win.
Here is a list of the “rules” we are following when constructing lineups:
- We will make two separate lineups for each site (FanDuel and DraftKings), one for Cash games and one for GPP tournaments.
- For Cash games, we will build the core of our lineup from the Consensus list using any player listed regardless of what tier they are in and will be allowed to choose 1 player that is not on the Consensus list that we consider to be a good play.
- For GPP games, we are allowed to choose up to add 2-3 players that are not on the Consensus list to help complete a hitter stack or we consider to be a good play.
- We can modify any lineup as we see fit for any late-breaking lineup news that opens up good options even if they are not on the Consensus list.
As always be sure to check for late-breaking news regarding weather and lineups.

Cash Game Lineup
Cash Narrative – Finally got back in the money with my Cash lineup last night! It was a looooooong drought. I’ll play the best pitcher on the board in Fernandez even though that Dbacks lineup scares me a bit. Solid looking lineup with Trayce Thompson as my off the board play. Thompson has shown the ability to hit the longball and I like that ability at a $2200 price point.
GPP Lineup
GPP Narrative – I think the only people to finish lower than me in last night’s GPP were the guys that forgot to fill out their lineup. It’s rough when your two stacks provide a grand total of 2 runs in 19 innings of play. Tonight I’ll go big with the 2-3-4 in the Red Sox lineup and stack the righties in the O’s lineup opposite Sabathia. Only one off the board play and it’s Dioner Navarro. Navarro seems to be finding a bit of a groove, though his sub-Mendoza Line batting average likely tells a much different story.

Cash Game Lineup
Cash Narrative – Following the same Cash game formula that has been successful lately by getting the top ranked high-priced pitcher and pairing him with a cheaper pitcher that I like which brings me to Fernandez and Sanchez tonight. Then on the hitting side, I have some extra money to pay up for some high-priced bats. Alot of exposure to the Blue Jays and Orioles tonight.
GPP Lineup
GPP Narrative – Trying to shake things up with my GPP lineups tonight be loading up with the top two high-priced pitchers Big stacks haven’t been working so tonight I am going to go back to my “Suited Connectors” concept and get three pairs of hitters that have home run potential going with Smoak/Tulo/Martin, Trumbo/Reimold and Sano/Dozier (off the board play).

Cash Game Lineup
Cash Narrative – I am not messing around and getting cute with pitching. Rodon was the only other guy I liked tonight outside of Rubby, and then the two I picked for both cash and GPP lineups. Matt Wieters isn’t starting tonight so I think that falls into the scratch/injury rule we have so Caleb Joseph is my boy and makes appearances in both lineups with that card. Love the Orioles, Rays and Blue Jays today, but can they get it done against two of the softest-tossing pitchers in the game that aren’t knuckleballers?
GPP Lineup
GPP Narrative – I hate not pairing Mazara and Odor at all, but I wanted to get in Rickard as an off-the-board play with Steve Pearce, a former Oriole. I love Adam Jones and Reimold tonight as BvP candidates, but Trumbo has a decent line and clubbed two home runs yesterday along with Smoak. I hope I am not WIle E. Coyote again chasing the Roadrunner. Good luck all!
