It has been a solid week of Cash game lineups for Matt (FanDuel) and Brad (DraftKings) this week as we have each won 2 out of 3 days. Stephen is still trying to find the groove with the new FantasyAces lineups but he will get there. However, GPPs have been a different story as we have been unable to cash all week, maybe one of us is just saving up for a big one on Friday night.
Here is a list of the “rules” we are following when constructing lineups:
- We will make two separate lineups for each site (FanDuel and DraftKings), one for Cash games and one for GPP tournaments.
- For Cash games, we will build the core of our lineup from the Consensus list using any player listed regardless of what tier they are in and will be allowed to choose 1 player that is not on the Consensus list that we consider to be a good play.
- For GPP games, we are allowed to choose up to add 2-3 players that are not on the Consensus list to help complete a hitter stack or we consider to be a good play.
- We can modify any lineup as we see fit for any late-breaking lineup news that opens up good options even if they are not on the Consensus list.

Cash Game Lineup
Cash Narrative – No off the board plays tonight. I think we should only use the off the board rule if absolutely necessary. Tonight, I was able to roster Syndergaard and still fill out a lineup using Consensus plays.
GPP Lineup
GPP Narrative – A bit of a different strategy than I’ve put to use lately. A strategy shift was needed because my GPP lineups have been baaaad. A 3-man stack of Brewers with Villar, Braun, Presley and a pair of Mariners with Seager and Cano. Other than that, I’m flying with some solo guys. Off the board plays are Oso Blanco and Carlos Santana, who was one of Stephen’s BvP plays for today.

Cash Narrative – I prefer MadBum on DK since he is much cheaper than Syndergaard and pairing him with Pomeranz. By paying down with my second pitchers spot and using Presley at min salary I was able to get a lot of big bats tonight all from the Consensus list.
GPP Lineup
GPP Narrative – Started with my pitchers tonight by paying up for Syndergaard in my GPP lineup and pairing him with Hill who is my Darkhorse pitcher pick today. On the hitting side I primarily picked hitters from the Consensus that were reasonably priced and had home run upside. My two off-the-board picks are a pair of Dodgers (Grandal and Puig) as I think the Dodgers are a good sneaky stack tonight.

Cash Narrative – Well, if Oakland/Baltimore plays, I think my cash game is toast. Weather is a concern in that one, so I faded players from both teams in both lineups. Lucroy was a Consensus play at catcher and he isn’t in the lineup tonight, so Martin Maldonado gets the call in both lineups. I wanted to pair Syndergaard and Bumgarner here but can’t without the A’s. I am going to hope that game doesn’t play.
GPP Lineup
GPP Narrative – I want to tweak this lineup some more, but I have time constraints, so this is what I came up with. Abreu and Bautista are dart throws for me despite the price. I don’t like their matchups that much, but, of course, they could go yard twice any day of the week. Bautista is coming out of a slump so I am willing to bet he can scrounge a few points at least. Abreu? Eh. Not the Abreu he was the first year, but still priced as such. Ellsbury and Lindor are off the board plays. I wanted to play more of my BvP plays in my lineups, but none made the Consensus, so I either go 0-for-3 on picks or dominate! Good luck everyone!
