Congrats to Stephen for pulling in a double-cash with his FantasyAces lineup on Wednesday winning in both a 50/50 and GPP tournament. Matt also finished well with his GPP lineup on Wednesday. Time for me to “make some bank” with my GPP lineup as it has been too long since I have cashed. Good thing I am 3-for-3 with my DraftKings Cash lineups this week. Let’s go get them on a big Friday night of DFS action!

Here is a list of the “rules” we are following when constructing lineups:

  1. We will make two separate lineups for each site (FanDuel and DraftKings), one for Cash games and one for GPP tournaments.
  2. For Cash games, we will build the core of our lineup from the Consensus list using any player listed regardless of what tier they are in and will be allowed to choose 1 player that is not on the Consensus list that we consider to be a good play.
  3. For GPP games, we are allowed to choose up to add 2-3 players that are not on the Consensus list to help complete a hitter stack or we consider to be a good play.
  4. We can modify any lineup as we see fit for any late-breaking lineup news that opens up good options even if they are not on the Consensus list.

As always be sure to check for late-breaking news regarding weather and lineups.

Cash Game Lineup

fd50505.20

Cash Narrative – Sure hope the Mets take it to Wily Peralta or this lineup might be in trouble. The Brewers just finished off a series in which they cooled off the Cubs so let’s hope that turns around. I tried to squeeze in Arrieta but couldn’t make it happen.

GPP Lineup

GPP Narrative – Colby Lewis can’t keep this up, can he? Wily Peralta stinks, right? Jake Peavy is old and tired, correct? I sure hope so on all accounts! Nola is the best GPP option at pitcher on the board tonight, IMO. Off the board plays with Valbuena and Russell. Valbuena offers great upside tonight with the ability to put a couple in the cheap seats at Minute Maid.

Cash Game Lineup

DK-Cash-May20

Cash Narrative – There were a lot of solid value options on the Consensus list tonight for DraftKings so I was able two of the top pitchers on the slate in Arrieta and Cole.

GPP Lineup

DK-GPP-May20

GPP Narrative – I am all in on the Astros tonight against Colby Lewis as I put together a five-man stack including two cheap off the board plays with Moran and Castro. I also went chalky with a mini Mets stack. Took Cole again and paired him with an off the board play of Kluber who is risky in Boston but does have the strikeout upside you want in a GPP pitcher.

Lineup Narrative – We finally got a lineup to cash in both a 50/50 and a GPP on Wednesday. Tonight we have an eclectic array of pitching options with one true ace on the hill, of which I am fading for this particular lineup. I likely won’t be using Nola anywhere else in the industry because he’s very expensive on DK and I can’t play on FD for the moment because I live in Texas. I love Aaron Sanchez and his K potential and Nola does have a nice home draw vs. the lackluster Braves. I like the Pirates, Mets and Indians today so Jaso and Polanco along with Kipnis and Santana. Curtis Granderson may be more of a GPP option while Michael Conforto the Mets’ best hitter against RH pitching and Wily Peralta throws beachballs. Granderson, Santana, Kipnis and Granderson and my favorite play of the evening, Carlos Correa, are all BvP plays today that also are on today’s Consensus. Salvador Perez was the cheapest catcher option amid a paltry list of catcher options tonight. Derek Dietrich was the cheapest option on the Consensus tonight, so he’s my punt. Good luck all!
