Wow, my pitchers were horrible last night with Francisco Liriano and Alex Wood combining for 0.95 DK points, yuck. Good thing I pivoted away from both of them in my GPP lineup which was able to squeak over the cash line for a small profit. Matt also cashed with his GPP lineup last night on FanDuel so at least we both didn’t come up empty if you chose to follow along. We’ll see if the experts do a better job of getting the top pitchers right tonight.

Here is a list of the “rules” we are following when constructing lineups:

  1. We will make two separate lineups for each site (FanDuel and DraftKings), one for Cash games and one for GPP tournaments.
  2. For Cash games, we will build our entire lineup from the Consensus list using any player listed regardless of what tier they are in.
  3. For GPP games, we are allowed to choose up to add 2-3 players that are not on the Consensus list to help complete a hitter stack or we consider to be a good play.
  4. We can modify any lineup as we see fit for any late-breaking lineup news that opens up good options even if they are not on the Consensus list.

As always be sure to check for late-breaking news regarding weather and lineups.

Entrant – Matt – FanDuel

Cash Game Lineup

fd50504.20

Cash Narrative – Meet the Mets! After dropping bombs all over Vinny Velasquez last night, I’ll take them to do the same against Jeremy Hellickson tonight.

GPP Lineup

GPP Narrative – Meet the Mets! Again. Same as above. Only off the board play is Bautista.

Entrant – Brad- DraftKings

Cash Game Lineup

DK-Cash-Apr20

Cash Narrative – I was able to get the top hitters from the Consensus list at every position except C and OF while still fitting in both of the most recommended pitchers.

GPP Lineup

DK-GPP-Apr20

GPP Narrative – I think the Dodgers might be a little lower owned tonight after only scoring one run last night. So I am using all four Dodgers from the Consensus list plus adding Joc Pederson as an off the board play and rounding out my hitters with a mini Mets stack. Since the Dodgers and Mets are fairly cheap I was able to pay up for Bumgarner and also get “ace” Archer at a reduced price tag.
