It sure was a high scoring night last night with a lot of big games from some of the most recommended players by the experts such as Andrew McCutchen, David Price and Johnny Cueto. Tonight could be another high scoring night if a few cheaper pitchers come through as there are a lot of good hitter matchups again. Also, remember that scoring on FanDuel changes tonight with 3.2 points for a Run and 3.5 points for an RBI, so stack up those hitters.
Here is a list of the “rules” we are following when constructing lineups:
- We will make two separate lineups for each site (FanDuel and DraftKings), one for Cash games and one for GPP tournaments.
- For Cash games, we will build our entire lineup from the Consensus list using any player listed regardless of what tier they are in.
- For GPP games, we are allowed to choose up to add 2-3 players that are not on the Consensus list to help complete a hitter stack or we consider to be a good play.
- We can modify any lineup as we see fit for any late-breaking lineup news that opens up good options even if they are not on the Consensus list.
As always be sure to check for late-breaking news regarding weather and lineups.

Cash Game Lineup
Cash Narrative – The odds have not been in our favor this week. Let’s hope that turns around tonight. I’ll play the knuckleballer, Wright, as he is returning more value at the P position than any other player at that position.
GPP Lineup
GPP Narrative – Stacks of Mets and Red Sox with Wieters at catcher. Off the board with Wainwright who has to turn things around at some point, right? Other off the board play is De Aza who is hitting at the top of the Mets lineup tonight and provided nice salary relief.

Cash Game Lineup
Cash Narrative – Paying up for Arrieta as long as the rain stays away and pairing him with a cheap option in Wright for my #2 pitcher. On the hitting side getting some exposure to Coors Fied with the Pirates 1-2 hitters and then also loading up on three Red Sox in a good matchup against a weak pitcher (Bud Norris). Using one off-the-board play in Alejandro De Aza who is batting leadoff in place of Granderson tonight. I also love Piscotty tonight hitting second for the Cardinals in Arizona against a lefty.
GPP Lineup
GPP Narrative – Going with two 4-man stacks that will probably be pretty popular tonight with the Mets and the Rockies. The whole Mets stack was on the Consensus (if you swap in De Aza for Granderson) and then getting the two Rockies (Story and Arenado) from the Consensus list and filling out the stack with off-the-board picks of Raburn and Hundley. At pitcher I couldn’t get up to Arrieta with my high-priced bats, so going with the #2 most recommended pitcher in Gonzalez and pairing him with an off-the-board pitcher from my On the Hill column today, Kazmir.
