I will handle a little double duty tonight producing both the FanDuel and DraftKings lineups with Matt out. I will try to repeat my success from last week where I cashed with seven out of eight DraftKings lineups. Meanwhile, Stephen will once again provide FantasyDraft lineups and commentary for your viewing pleasure.

MHere is a list of the “rules” we are following when constructing lineups:

  1. We will make two separate lineups for each site (FanDuel and DraftKings), one for Cash games and one for GPP tournaments.
  2. For Cash games, we will build the core of our lineup from the Consensus list using any player listed regardless of what tier they are in and will be allowed to choose 1 player that is not on the Consensus list that we consider to be a good play.
  3. For GPP games, we are allowed to choose up to add 2-3 players that are not on the Consensus list to help complete a hitter stack or we consider to be a good play.
  4. We can modify any lineup as we see fit for any late-breaking lineup news that opens up good options even if they are not on the Consensus list.

As always be sure to check for late-breaking news regarding weather and lineups.

Cash Game Lineup

FD Cash

Cash Narrative – I really like how this lineup came together by paying down at pitcher with Bauer, I was able to get some Coors Field exposure with Careera, Gonzalez and an off the board play of Adames batting second. Also had money to grab a couple of my favorite Cubs bats with Rizzo and Contreras in the middle of the lineup against the Reds. Rounded out my lineup with some value plays from the Consensus list including Forsythe batting leadoff against a lefty, Franco playing in Arizona against a lefty and the perpetually underpriced Mazara.

GPP Lineup

 FD GPP

GPP Narrative – Going with a couple “chalky” stacks including the Rockies top four hitters and the middle of the Rangers lineup with Adames as the only off the board hitter. Then going with a high-upside pitcher with Ray against the Phillies.

Cash Game Lineup

DK Cash

Cash Narrative – Only one off the board play in my Cash lineup using a min-priced Adames batting second in Coors Field. Otherwise selecting value bats where I could while trying to get some exposure to Coors Field, the Cubs and Rangers hitters. On the pitching side, I am paying up for Arrieta and getting a hopefully safe cheaper option with Samardzija.

GPP Lineup

DK GPP

GPP Narrative – Fading Coors Field with my GPP llneup on DK tonight as I stack up the Cubs top five hitters who are also in a great spot. Then getting suited connectors from the Rangers (Beltre/Mazara) and rounding out my hitters with an inexpensive Crawford from the Consensus list. On the pitching side, is where I will differentiate my lineup by going with a pair of high strikeout upside hurlers pitching in the same game.

Cash Game Lineup

6-27-16 Cash

Cash Narrative – I wanted to have Arrieta and Shoe in my cash game, but that didn’t work out so well. Going Tulo in both lineups for the revenge factor and Samardzija faces a lowly A’s squad at home in a very favorable pitchers park. The upside in Ks isn’t quite there, but I want security that he will go 7 innings and limit damage. I’m stacking the Rangers because they were cheap options.

GPP Lineup

 6-27-16 GPP

GPP Narrative – Any time I feel comfortable using Danny Duffy, it backfires, so away we go. Going lots of Coors here with Longo as another off-the-board play. Rizzo is one of my favorite plays of the day and I was able to get him into this lineup as well. Good luck all!
