Matt (FanDuel) and I (DraftKings) both had very strong Cash game lineups last night finishing in the top 10% in 50/50s. Let’s see if the Consensus list can help lead us to the right players again tonight.
Here is a list of the “rules” we are following when constructing lineups:
- We will make two separate lineups for each site (FanDuel and DraftKings), one for Cash games and one for GPP tournaments.
- For Cash games, we will build the core of our lineup from the Consensus list using any player listed regardless of what tier they are in and will be allowed to choose 1 player that is not on the Consensus list that we consider to be a good play.
- For GPP games, we are allowed to choose up to add 2-3 players that are not on the Consensus list to help complete a hitter stack or we consider to be a good play.
- We can modify any lineup as we see fit for any late-breaking lineup news that opens up good options even if they are not on the Consensus list.
As always be sure to check for late-breaking news regarding weather and lineups.

Cash Game Lineup
Cash Narrative – I’ll take Liriano against the Braves though I did consider a fade. Pending two west coast lineups to post with Ellsbury and Pederson. Joc is my only off the board play. He tends to hit home runs in bunches and he’s been hitting bunches of them the last week.
GPP Lineup
GPP Narrative – The Indians have scored 15 and 13 runs against Reds pitching the last two nights. Let’s hope that translates to bandbox otherwise known as Great American Ballpark on the other side of the state. My lone off the board play was Rajai Davis who I really like setting the table for that Indians lineup.

Cash Game Lineup
Cash Narrative – With no cheap pitching options tonight I had to pay up for Liriano and Gonzalez which forced me to find a cheap off the board play to make a lineup work. So, my cheap plug-in option is Phil Gosselin batting second tonight. The rest of my lineup consisted of plays from the Conseneus list.
GPP Lineup
GPP Narrative – The Cubs stack didn’t work out last night but I am going to go back to the well again tonight stacking up the four Cubs from the Consensus list and pairing them with a chalky Yankees stack adding in Gregorious and Gardner as off the board plays. At pitcher I took to high upside strikeout pitchers with Pomeranz and Eovaldi as an off the board play.
Entrant – Stephen- FantasyAces
Lineup Narrative – Last night I tried to get cute. I didn’t even attempt making a lineup on FA with Kershaw AND Bumgarner, my top 2 pitchers of the night. I probably couldn’t have done it with such a lack of outfield depth, but not even trying was a very stupid thing to do. Anyway, so I am all in on Cueto and LIriano today, even though Liriano could be quite the fade for tournaments with David Price on the hill at a cheaper price around the industry. Anyway, Ellsbury and Rasmus make my BvP list today. I did fade Posey here because I wanted to stack McCann with Ellsbury against the pathetic Shelby Miller. I also faded Gomes because he’s hit 2 HRs in the past two games. I think it’s very difficult for a player to make it 3 days in a row, so I am out on that note but still have Napoli and Lindor against lefty Brandon Finnegan. Jake Lamb should’ve made my lineup the last two nights, so I feel like I am chasing there. It was between Villar and Diaz and went with Villar due to him leading off. Lastly, Tyler Holt. Needed a punt and wasn’t willing to sacrifice another position though if I had played Gomes I was going to use Taylor Motter (hitting second and in for Brad Miller), so Gomes, Diaz and Motter were faded, so you need to play them (trust me, I am the king fo tinkering too much and the guys I fade going off).
