Tonight we have three sets of lineups for your consideration as Matt and Stephen both created FanDuel lineups tonight while I created the DraftKings lineups. Matt and Stephen are both off to a good start on the FanDuel side of things while I am still trying to get my rhythm on the DraftKings side.
We will be producing sample MLB lineups during the baseball season like we started doing during the NBA season. These lineups will follow a certain set of rules for Cash lineups and GPP lineups. Matt(FanDuel) and Brad(DraftKings) will be the primary creators of the lineups each day with Stephen joining in on occasion. We will track our results and provide a summary each week.
Here is a list of the “rules” we are following when constructing lineups:
- We will make two separate lineups for each site (FanDuel and DraftKings), one for Cash games and one for GPP tournaments.
- For Cash games, we will build our entire lineup from the Consensus list using any player listed regardless of what tier they are in.
- For GPP games, we are allowed to choose up to add 2-3 players that are not on the Consensus list to help complete a hitter stack or we consider to be a good play.
- We can modify any lineup as we see fit for any late-breaking lineup news that opens up good options even if they are not on the Consensus list.

Cash Narrative – With a limited number of Consensus players to choose from and weather concerns in a couple of places, tonight was hard. I had to go outside the Consensus players for one pick as I was not able to stay under the salary using only Consensus guys. Puig was my off the board play in the cash game tonight.
GPP Lineup
GPP Narrative – After a successful debut last night, let’s keep it going! Two stacks for tonight as I’m playing 4 O’s (all of which are in the Consensus) and 3 Dodgers. My off the board plays are Utley and Puig to form the Dodgers stack.

Cash Narrative – Tough to make a lineup using just the Consensus list tonight as there were not many value plays on the list so I had to go off the board in the outfield. All of these outfielders were selected by at least one expert today. Rickard is a cheap option to get more exposure to the Orioles lineup. Taylor is batting leadoff for the Nationals against Bud Norris. Valencia is batting cleanup and faces a lefty.

GPP Narrative – Going with an off the board at pitcher tonight plugging in Finnegan. If the Reds game gets canceled then pivot to Juan Nicasio. I am also going to try my “suited connectors” concept in my GPP lineup tonight with C. Davis(3) and Wieters(5), Seager(2) and Gonzalez(4), Dozier(1) and Sano(3) and two off the board outfielders with K. Davis(2) and Valencia(4).
